Summary

The Manager, Total Rewards & HR Systems is a member of our client’s People Team. This person will support the development and implementation of an effective reward strategy to successfully attract, retain and motivate the right people for our firm. He or she will manage compensation, benefits, global mobility, performance, HR systems and special projects and provide advice and guidance to the People Team and the business as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive reward support for salary recommendations, bonus proposals, market benchmarking, incentive schemes, policies, processes, and data reports.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and People Operations on compensation matters including market pricing new and existing jobs.
  • Plan set up and administration of global benefits for all offices including medical, dental, vision, life/accident/disability insurance, EAP, retirement benefits and wellness initiatives.
  • Manage 3rd party vendor support, relationships, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.
  • Participate in salary surveys and monitor results to ensure we remain competitive, while ensuring compliance with international, federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate the performance cycle, systems administration, including drafting communications material.
  • Carry out bespoke benefits market analysis exercises against relevant employers to continually review and recommend changes which ensure our offers remain competitive, appropriate, relevant, inclusive, and meets legislative requirements.
  • Manage administrative tasks for HR systems primarily Workday, responding to user requests, liaising with IT and other stakeholders for specific projects and integrations.
  • Support the deployment (Gathering requirements, defining specifications, configuring, testing, design, and training) of any new or enhanced HR technology system.
  • Produce HR management information reporting including headcount, diversity, and organizational charts.
  • Support for international assignments by preparing relocation packages, cost projections, assignment letters and managing 3rd party mobility vendors.
  • Proactively keep up to date with related HR, business initiatives and external market trend that may impact on the reward strategy and ensure relevant information is shared as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain a strong network with key contacts inside the Firm and outside with Compensation, Benefits and HRIS experts.
  • Authorize and process invoices for payment for compensation, benefits, global mobility, and systems expenses; review expenses against budget; and support budget requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years supporting benefits and compensation, global experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong business acumen, operational skills, and successful center of excellence partnership with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level numerical & analytical skills with the ability to analyze market data in excel and other software tools.
  • Demonstrate a track record of utilizing HR systems, including Workday, providing support, testing and process mapping / documentation.
  • Knowledge of performance management and competency frameworks (desirable).
  • Experience with market-based pay structures and participating in salary surveys (desirable).
  • Proactive and diligent, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Autonomous and highly organized, with good prioritization skills.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information or similar.
  • Thrive in a challenging and changing environment.
  • Highly motivated, keen to work hard, and develop within the rewards and HR systems field.
  • Experience working in a law or professional services environment is desirable.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $105,000 – $150,000 (exempt).
