SharePoint Platform Engineer

Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Senior Application Development Manager, responsible for the design, development, implementation, maintenance and support of SharePoint solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop SharePoint and Power Platform solutions to meet the needs of Practice Groups and Business Professionals.
  • Meet with stakeholders to gather business requirements and to define specifications.
  • Propose and recommend solutions, build prototypes and conduct proof-of-concepts.
  • Oversee monthly SharePoint patching and ensure a healthy and stable, high-performing environment.
  • Work closely with the SharePoint Architect to configure and maintain both on-premise and online platforms.
  • Ensure SharePoint services are running optimally and proper monitoring is in place to identify issues in the environment.
  • Conduct quarterly SharePoint data recovery tests, maintain and update Disaster Recovery procedures.
  • Install and configure 3rd party solutions that integrate and augment the SharePoint platform.
  • Act as lead engineer in converting legacy systems to SharePoint.
  • Follow SDLC methodologies and best practices.
  • Handle end-user support tickets and respond to operational requests.

 Requirements

  • 5+ years’ development experience using C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS and ReactJS framework
  • 2+ years’ development experience with SharePoint Online development frameworks.
  • 2+ years’ development experience with Power Platform (implementing PowerApps).
  • Experience converting SharePoint Designer 2013 Workflows to Power Automate Flows preferred
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint 2016, SharePoint Online
  • Experience with Aderant Handshake, Nintex and Sharegate development frameworks and utilities.
  • Strong hands-on modern SharePoint (SPFx) custom code development experience
  • Automate SharePoint administration tasks (manage site collections, site permission ) leveraging PowerShell.
  • Able to work independently, as well as within a team, and take the lead on projects
  • Bachelor’s degree from an approved and accredited college
  • MCSD, MCSE or Power Platform certification preferred
  • Legal experience preferred

Compensation

$165,000 to $175,000 based on experience
