Our client seeks an experienced investment management attorney to help lead various fund formation efforts and related projects. Responsibilities
You’ll work closely with the firm’s investment, business development, and investor relations teams to develop and launch new investment products, negotiate the terms of those products with prospective clients and investors, and maintain and advise on the firm’s existing product lines. You’ll also advise the firm’s Corporate Development group on potential new investment strategies, new lines of business, and other opportunities or initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should have eight or more years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
- Experience with private funds (whether open- or closed-end) is required, as is familiarity with relevant portions of key investment management laws and regulations.
- Experience with managed accounts is a plus.
Compensation
The expected annual base salary for this position is $250,000 to $350,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes substantial variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, a relocation bonus, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
