Summary

A top global law firm is seeking an experienced Senior HR Recruiting Specialist to support the sourcing and recruitment of its Business Professionals Team.  This role will work closely with firm leadership, including chiefs and hiring managers, to execute on the strategic growth initiatives of the firm’s business operations.  This is a hybrid role based in the New York office.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and coordinating the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interview scheduling, and maintaining communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand role requirements, assist in drafting comprehensive and effective job descriptions, and strategizing on hiring priorities.
  • Developing creative sourcing strategies, leveraging various innovative as well as well-known channels to identify high quality candidates that match expectations.
  • Ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience by managing expectations, providing timely feedback, and maintaining clear communication throughout the hiring process.
  • Staying informed on industry recruitment trends, market shifts, compensation ranges for specific functions, and competitor activity.
  • Partnering with staffing agencies for specific roles and functions, based on successful past performance with the Firm, and forging relationships with new agencies in order to attract top talent.
  • Working with the HR Recruiting Director and HRIS Director to establish a robust internal recruiting data hub by helping to supply necessary recruiting data.
  • Properly and effectively utilizing the Firm’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by ensuring accurate and consistent input of candidate data, hiring statuses, and other relevant information.
  • Using LinkedIn Recruiter to attract talent and source candidates.
  • Providing regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress, and giving feedback on candidates.
  • Other projects as needed

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in recruiting. A focus on business professionals talent acquisition in the legal or professional services industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven experience managing the full-cycle recruitment process from identifying hiring manager needs and expectations to candidate sourcing, engaging staffing agencies, all the way through offer acceptance/background checks.
  • Proven experience handling multiple requisitions simultaneously while successfully identifying candidates and meeting hiring manager expectations regarding quality of candidates and time to fill.
  • Strong understanding of and practical experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build relationships and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization.
  • Proven competency thriving, staying focused and delivering excellent results in a fast-paced, high-touch, white glove service environment.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and make necessary adjustments.
  • Very strong organizational skills and an impeccable attention to detail and nuances.
  • A genuine passion for recruiting and interest in people, with an innate ability to successfully forge, manage, and maintain relationships with a variety of different hiring managers, peers and candidates.
  • A data-driven mindset to use metrics to improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
  • A strong work ethic, a willingness to go the extra mile, work collaboratively, and do what it takes to deliver timely, quality results to hiring managers.
  • Work on other projects as needed.

 Compensation

  • $110,000.00-$125,000.00 annually plus bonus
