Research Services Senior Analyst

Summary
The Research Services Senior Analyst is an integral part of the Firm’s Research Services team. This role will be responsible for providing legal and non-legal research and analysis to attorneys and business services staff using a variety of research tools, as well as providing training and awareness of research resources, facilitating skills development, and acting as a coach for more junior members of the Research Services team. This role will be located in our Century City office.
Schedule
Hybrid: 2 days/week in office or as business needs dictate
Hours: Preference for 10:00 am – 6:30 pm but flexible
Responsibilities & Qualifications
• Conducting complex legal and non-legal research utilizing electronic and print research tools and synthesizing and analyzing results for relevancy and responsiveness to the specific research request
• Monitoring business, industry, and legal news sources for developments regarding clients, industries, and practice areas and utilizing aggregator platforms to assemble relevant results for distribution to attorneys and business services staff
• Promoting awareness and providing training on research platforms
• Sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues and assisting with research staff professional development
• Promoting effective work practices, working as a team member, and showing respect for co-workers
• Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that the Firm retains

• Demonstrate advanced communication skills and the ability to work as a team player, manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines
And have
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably a master’s degree or J.D.
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience, preferably
Compensation: $95,000.00-$120,000.00, plus bonus
