Summary
Our client, an Am Law 50 law firm with multiple offices worldwide, has an opening for a Pricing Analyst within their Pricing & Legal Project Management department!
Responsibilities
- Support Partners by providing financial analysis and pricing guidance on their client/matter portfolios.
- Provide coaching and guidance to Partners, business professionals and Client Account Managers (CAMs) regarding effective pricing solutions that balance client needs and the firm’s profitability.
- Analyze write-downs, write-offs, client discount structures and AFA’s to understand client realization, leverage and direct margin.
- Proactively monitor budgets related to assigned billing Partners’ matters.
- Work closely with other financial operations teams to ensure annual pricing review process meets client deadlines, client accounts are set up properly and the billing team is informed of new agreement terms.
- Support various projects that improve the pricing team’s efficiency and contribute to overall firm financial success.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate Degree required.
- 3 – 5 years’ experience working within the Professional Services field, in roles requiring intricate financial analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite Skills, Excel in particular.
- Working knowledge of Legal Industry accounting systems, preferably Thomson-Reuters Elite 3E
- Effective communicator both internally and externally with clients.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding, including ability to quickly learn new applications.
- Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve solutions under deadlines.
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent proofreading skills.
- Talent for creating client satisfaction; demonstrated ability to focus on the client value in all work.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $69,000 – $118,000, nonexempt. The range displayed may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO.
