Summary

Under the direct supervision of the IS Enterprise Applications Director, the Modern Workplace Product Manager is responsible for implementing technology that delivers seamless productivity and collaboration across the enterprise while maintaining the security and integrity of Firm systems and data

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for enterprise productivity and collaboration tools, ensuring they measurably improve how users work every day.
  • Serve as the Product Manager for the Firm’s productivity platform, including Microsoft 365 applications used for document creation, collaboration, communication, and task management.
  • Drive adoption, value realization, and continuous improvement across tools across the Microsoft M365 product suite including PowerPlatform, MS Teams, Office applications, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Planner, and Copilot.
  • Partner closely with attorneys, business professionals, and leadership to understand workflows, pain points, and productivity gaps, translating them into product priorities and enhancements.
  • Define and optimize end‑to‑end productivity workflows (e.g., document creation, collaboration, sharing, review, and task coordination) to reduce friction and increase efficiency.
  • Establish success metrics (adoption, usage, satisfaction, productivity outcomes) and use data and user feedback to guide product decisions.
  • Lead change management efforts, including feature rollouts, user communications, training strategies, and feedback loops to drive sustained adoption.
  • Collaborate with Security, Risk, and Information Governance teams to ensure productivity tools are secure, compliant, and appropriately governed without compromising usability.
  • Oversee testing and validation of new features and changes, ensuring productivity gains, minimal disruption, and a positive user experience.
  • Monitor the external market and Microsoft roadmap to identify new capabilities and opportunities that enhance productivity and collaboration across the Firm.
  • Balance strategic product ownership with hands‑on operational oversight, ensuring stability while evolving the productivity platform

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for productivity, collaboration, or digital workplace tools.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration capabilities and how knowledge workers use them in real‑world workflows.
  • Strong understanding of law firm or professional services work patterns, including document‑centric and collaboration‑heavy environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to shift organizations from “tools delivered” to outcomes achieved (efficiency, usability, adoption, satisfaction).
  • Experience managing products across their full lifecycle, including roadmap planning, prioritization, rollout, adoption, and optimization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align business users, IT, security, and vendors around shared outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly in translating complex technology capabilities into clear productivity benefits for users and leadership.
  • Solid understanding of security, risk, and information governance considerations as they relate to productivity platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working with enterprise productivity or collaboration technologies in a legal or comparable professional services environment.
  • Work Requirements: 7-hour weekday shift, occasional travel for conferences and satellite office support.

Compensation

  • $170,000.00-$190,000.00 plus bonus.
