Litigation Project Assistant

Summary
Litigation Project Assistants are typically recent college graduates looking to gain exposure to the
legal field before attending law school or embark on a paralegal career. Litigation Project Assistants
work with lawyers and senior paralegals on all phases of complex technology related litigation, from
the initial complaint to document discovery, depositions, expert discovery, trial preparation and
post-trial/appeal.

Responsibilities
• Provide administrative and legal support to firm’s clients and case teams.
• Compile and organize documents to assist in discovery, motions practice, depositions,
hearings, and trial preparation.
• Prepare for and attend depositions and trials.
• Assist with factual and legal research.
• Assist with managing internal case files and docket.
• Create charts, graphs, tables, etc. for data analysis and synthesis.
• Utilize e-discovery platforms and other software programs as needed to complete projects.
• Other duties as assigned by case teams and/or Director of Practice Management.

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• B.A. or B.S. degree.
• Intellectual curiosity and an interest in technology.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, advanced knowledge of Excel preferred and working
knowledge of Adobe.
• Willingness and flexibility to work overtime, occasionally on short notice, with the ability
to travel for trial.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive
details.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and all levels of
personnel while handling confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while
demonstrating initiative, diplomacy, and tact when under pressure.

Compensation: $60,000.00-$75,000.00, plus overtime and bonus, dependent on experience, internal equity and location.
