Summary

Our client seeks an accomplished lawyer to join the firm’s litigation investing strategy. This individual will collaborate with an innovative and highly skilled team in the investment management sector and work in an informal yet intellectually rigorous setting. Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include performing initial investment diligence (including legal research), structuring investments, preparing investment memos, and monitoring portfolio investments in commercial litigation.

Qualifications

• A law degree and at least one clerkship are required.
• Candidates should have one to two years of experience and a demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement.
• Keen attention to detail, impressive project management skills, and sound judgment are required.
• Proven communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with members of multiple business units, are essential.

Compensation

The expected annual base salary for this position is $200,000 to $250,000. Our client’s compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, a relocation bonus, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
