Litigation Associate

Summary

Our client seeks an experienced 2nd to 6th year litigation associate to join our commercial litigation practice group.   Our firm’s litigation group represents banking and financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, closely-held businesses and individuals in complex litigation in state and federal courts.

Qualifications

• Admitted in New Jersey and New York
• 2–6 years of litigation experience
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions and other papers in litigations and arbitrations
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Experience appearing in court and other forums for motions and/or trials
• Ability to manage a workload of multiple clients and competing deadlines
• Commitment to exceeding client needs/expectations in an effective manner
• Experience communicating orally and in writing with clients, experts, witnesses, opposing counsel and judges
• Excellent analytical ability and writing skills

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $180,000 – $210,000 (exempt). The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and other considerations.
