Legal Recruiting Coordinator

Summary

The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will coordinate all activities and processes related to on-campus recruiting during each recruiting season. This position collaborates closely with the Legal Recruiting Manager in all phases of recruiting efforts for new attorneys and summer associates.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Legal Recruiting Manager to execute the on-campus interview program (OCI) and callback interview process including law school registration, interviewer confirmations, and outreach with law school representatives.
  • Coordinates law student interview schedules, including sending calendar invitations and confirmation communications with students and attorneys.
  • Provides support in strategy and coordination for law school recruiting and the firm’s summer program.
  • Serve as a firm liaison with search firms, law students, and career services professionals.
  • Propose, plan, and execute efforts toward firm visibility with respect to law students.
  • Supports the Legal Recruiting Manager on lateral associate hiring by posting positions, coordinating interview logistics, including but not limited to calendaring meetings, setting up video links and/or making conference room reservations, and preparing materials.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend recruiting events as necessary.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed, particularly in the months of May through August.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of increasing experience as a recruiting professional; law firm experience required.
  • Must be a team player and exercise good judgement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and have a professional demeanor.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

*Salary: $75,000-$85,000. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.

**This is a hybrid role with the expectation of 3 days in the office.

Salary: $75,000.00-$85,000.00, plus overtime and bonus
