Labor and Employment Associate

A premier, global, law firm seeks an associate with 4 or more years of experience to join their Labor and Employment department. Wage and hour class action experience is a must. The associate’s practice will focus on employment litigation, including single plaintiff and class action matters. In addition to a strong employment litigation background, experience in providing employment law advice and client counseling is required. Traditional labor law experience is a plus. Candidates must be admitted to the State Bar of California. Strong academic credentials are required.

The firm reasonably expects to pay between $260,000.00-$300,000.00 in annual base compensation for this position. The base compensation offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the selected candidate’s qualifications and years of relevant experience. Additionally, associates who meet the firm’s minimum performance standards (including billing at least 1900 hours), can reasonably expect total compensation (base salary plus a discretionary bonus) ranging from $410,000.00-$475,000.00. The discretionary bonus may also be increased based on the number of hours billed and collected in excess of 1900 hours. Separately, the Firm credits associates with an additional bonus on work they originate.
