Summary

Our client seeks an attorney to join the team that supports investor-facing activities and fund formation for the firm’s multi-asset class and benchmark-relative equities businesses. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collegial and collaborative environment that values inclusiveness, rigorous analysis, and creative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with other attorneys, investment professionals, and business development and investor relations teams to develop, market, and launch new investment products and maintain existing ones. This role is expected to include significant exposure to the firm’s communications with current and prospective investors, as well as drafting and negotiation of fund-related documentation and project-based work related to legal, regulatory, and commercial developments.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a law degree and two to five years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
• Experience in investment management is a strong plus but not required.
• The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in both commercial and legal aspects of investment management, well-developed analytical abilities, and exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Compensation

The expected annual base salary for this position is $200,000 to $250,000.

Our client’s compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, a relocation bonus, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
