Summary

Our client seeks a Partner experienced in funds formation for its Corporate Group. Candidate should have expertise with funds with investment strategies (private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, or credit) including co-investment vehicles and SPV’s; experience in limited partnerships and LLCs, seed capital arrangements, joint venture arrangements, single-client arrangements, separately managed accounts and funds, and regulatory compliance. Candidate should have some level of portables.

Within the firm’s Corporate/Securities/Transactional practice, corporate attorneys negotiate a wide variety of corporate, strategic, and financing transactions, working with market-leading private and public companies, hedge funds, private equity firms, other global investors, and academic research institutions. Corporate attorneys at the firm also act as outside general counsel to clients advising on, among other items, corporate governance, legal compliance, including SEC regulatory and stock exchange requirements, and risk management.

The firm offers flexible and competitive fee arrangements and rates to service public company clients of a smaller size that may be outpriced by larger law firms and has the requisite specialists to support all corporate needs of public company clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in funds formation at Partner level in a law firm environment
• Academic excellence or other record of achievement
• Strong writing skills
• Confident, mature presence and speaking ability
• Modest portables

Compensation

$350,000-$400,000 base compensation, plus origination percentages scale
