Executive Assistant

February 22-May 27 (Maternity Leave Coverage)
The New York office of a global, real estate development firm has an immediate opening for an Executive Assistant.  This position provides administrative support to the President of the real estate investment and development arm of the firm and his team.  Duties include but not limited to conducting research, preparing reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as making travel arrangements (extensive, ever changing, national and international travel), preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, setting up web meetings, and updating contact databases.  Experience and flexibility to help coordinate personal/non-business related items at times is a must.  In order to be successful in this role, candidates must have the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding discussions, records, files, documents and information. The Executive Assistant must be able to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks while satisfactorily meeting deadlines and desired outcomes. Professional presentation and demeanor is required at all times. Candidates must have a minimum of (3-5) year’s administrative experience in a professional/corporate environment preferably within Real Estate and an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong MS office skills, extraordinary attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication and proofreading skills.  The successful candidate will have a calm demeanor, be patient and also have a sense of humor and can laugh at a joke.  Firm offers a competitive compensation and excellent benefits package.
