Docket Specialist

Summary
An AmLaw 100 firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced Docket Specialist in our Philadelphia office.
Responsibilities
- Review all incoming ECF/e-filings, faxes, scanned mail deliveries, and emails for the offices within the designated assignment group (multiple offices) and docket same utilizing the CompuLaw Vision software in a manner consistent with court/agency rules and docketing protocols
- Ability to analyze and interpret various rules, including Federal, State, and Local rules for multiple states
- Ability to analyze documents to identify critical deadlines. The documents include but are not limited to complaints, motions, discovery requests, orders, etc.
- Ensure all information provided is accurate, and copies of documents are attached to events in the docketing system for reference
- Provide guidance to attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff on understanding all aspects of docketing and processes
- Assist Docketing team members as backup and provide additional support as needed
- Actively interact and collaborate with team members to provide deliverables and service to the highest and sustainable level of quality and professionalism.

- E-filing and familiarity with PACER and Electronic Court Filings (ECFs)
- Knowledge and understanding of the litigation process
- 3-5 years of docketing experience, relevant legal support, or equivalent experience in a law firm or legal services environment is required
- Experience with Aderant CompuLaw or other docketing systems preferred
- College degree and/or paralegal certification, or equivalent experience, preferred
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, & Outlook
Compensation: Up to $85,000.00, plus overtime and bonus.
