Summary

Our client seeks a collaborative, critical thinker with well-developed communication and project leadership skills to join its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Culture Group, reporting to their Senior Manager, DEI. This individual will work with senior members of the firm to help develop, implement, and track initiatives to meet our client’s DEI goals. The role offers the chance to provide input on the processes and programs that impact the experience of all employees at the firm, an opportunity to be part of an inclusive and collegial working environment, and exposure to the firm’s leadership across the full range of our business units.

Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with the DEI team, firm leaders, our Human Capital group, and other internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making, as well as manage projects with teams across the firm. This role requires a dual focus on communications and execution, as you’ll play a key role in driving the firm’s DEI strategy through talent management and other initiatives. You’ll support project teams and help oversee training, feedback, and results. You’ll monitor trends and innovations related to DEI to identify and develop new approaches related to recruitment and retention of underrepresented groups. You’ll work with Investor Relations and other teams to co-create DEI-related branding initiatives, design and implement programming and events, and support affinity group projects. You’ll also help develop tools and maintain metrics to measure the impact and expenses of our diversity efforts in a rigorous, data-driven way, and ensure the DEI sections of our internal and external websites are regularly and appropriately updated.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should have a record of professional achievement, including three years of comparable experience, with one previous role in DEI highly preferred.
  • Experience in the finance or technology industries is desirable.
  • Keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and experience managing processes and tracking initiatives across functions are essential.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • A willingness to take on challenging, high-impact projects is necessary.

Compensation

The expected annual base salary for this position is $125,000. Our client’s compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, a relocation bonus, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401k contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
