- They are seeking an associate with two to five years of experience in corporate counseling, transactions and M&A to join their dynamic corporate practice group.
The successful candidate will have experience:
- Counseling on day-to-day corporate legal issues
- Managing complex corporate transactions
- Drafting and negotiating agreements, organizational documents, and handling various corporate transactions/mergers and acquisitions
- Interacting directly with clients
- Candidates should possess a strong academic background and superior drafting and negotiation skills, be willing to take on significant responsibility for deal management, client interaction and work product, and be diligent, proactive, supportive and team-oriented.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of large law firm corporate experience
- Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees
- New Jersey admission required (within 12 months of hiring)
- New York a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with careful attention to detail.
- Exceptional client service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Compensation: $170,000.00-$190,000.00, plus bonus.
