Corporate Associate (3-4 Years)

Summary
Firm’s corporate team is seeking an outstanding lateral associate who has M&A and equity and/or debt finance experience with private and public companies, hedge funds, private equity funds and other investors. Corporate attorneys at firm also act as outside general counsel to clients advising on corporate governance, legal compliance, including SEC regulatory and stock exchange requirements, and risk management.

Firm’s clients are sophisticated and global and seek the firm’s counsel for high stakes transactions, strategic decisions, solutions and planning.

Abilities and Skills Needed
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a law firm environment
• High level of academic achievement
• Strong writing skills
• Confident, mature presence and speaking ability
• Ability to develop lasting connections with firm colleagues and clients
• Admission to the New York bar is required
• Firm is a top-tier, full-service, mid-sized law firm; receiving recognition in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, Legal 500 and has been named one of the top 20 Best Mid-sized Law Firms in the US by the National Law Journal.

Firm has the capacity to handle clients’ matters on the highest level in various fields of law, including, but not limited to: Corporate, Activism, Bankruptcy, Advertising, Commercial Litigation, ERISA, Employment Practices, IP, Real Estate, and Tax Matters.

Compensation: $240,000.00-$295,000.00, plus bonus
