Summary

Our client seeks an associate with two to four years of experience in corporate counseling, transactions and M&A.

Responsibilities

• Counseling on day-to-day corporate legal issues,
• Drafting and negotiating contracts, organizational documents, and handling various corporate transactions/mergers and acquisitions
• Interacting directly with clients

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of large law firm corporate experience
• Bachelor’s and Juris Doctor degrees
• New Jersey admission required
• New York a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with careful attention to detail.
• Exceptional client service skills
• Candidates should possess a strong academic background and superior drafting and negotiation skills, be willing to take on significant responsibility for deal management, client interaction and work product, and be diligent, proactive, supportive and team-oriented.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $170,000 – $200,000 (exempt). The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and other considerations.
