Summary

New York City real estate law firm seeks full-time Conflicts Analyst. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of relevant legal conflicts work experience. Excellent benefits package available. Compensation will be based on experience. Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm. This is a non-exempt position.

As a Conflicts Analyst, you will carefully review all incoming conflict checks for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to the Firm’s standards. This position will work closely with secretaries and attorneys to clarify conflict parties and relationships. You will be responsible for researching all parties submitted in conflict checks; obtaining necessary information and relationships and ensuring the information added to our Surepoint Conflicts database is correct. Review and analyze requests to re-open closed clients/matters and identify data to existing client records. This position will determine if there are potential conflicts that require further analysis and/or additional research. Responsible for communicating potential conflict results and resolving conflicts’ issues during the attorney hiring and new business process. This position will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Information Governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5 years of legal conflicts experience;
  • Follow consistent procedures with attention to detail;
  • Excellent analysis/reporting skills;
  • Excellent communication skills; and
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with all levels of employees and departments.

$85,000.00-$100,000.00, dependent on experience.
