Conflicts Analyst
San Francisco
Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, or 8:00AM – 4:30PM (37.5 Hour Workweek)
The conflicts analyst position offers a unique combination of autonomy and teamwork as part of a cohesive, well-established centralized administrative department that manages the opening of all Firm matters, across multiple offices and time zones. Although overtime is often available, this position offers good work-life balance amongst collegial, professional colleagues. Guided by department objectives and priorities, a conflicts analyst applies detailed knowledge of professional methods to independently research, produce, review and analyze conflict of interest reports to enable the opening of new matters, and helps to ensure client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of the position.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of one year of conflicts or legal assistant experience (or similar law firm experience in a decision-making capacity) required.
Teamwork and Applied Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Strong detail skills required.
- Strong analytical skills required.
- Strong technical / database aptitude preferred.
- Corporate research skills preferred.
- Willingness to learn law regarding conflict of interest issues is essential.
- Ability to keep confidential any information, observations or viewpoints regarding Firm business matters.
- Ability to work overtime, as required.
