Complex Commercial Litigation Associate

Summary

Our client is seeking an associate with 4+ years of experience to join their high-profile litigation practice in Washington, DC. Candidates should have a comprehensive complex litigation skill set and should be experienced in legal research, brief-writing, running document production, and discovery. We’re looking for a key team player who will support the growth of the practice, contribute to articles, attend speaking engagements, and participate in other client development activities. Collaboration with team members is an important component. Therefore, the firm encourages working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm’s published guidelines. 

Skills & Experience

Required

• Candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school (T14 school is preferred.)
• Must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and all levels of personnel and handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and tact when under pressure.

*The salary range for this position is $310,000.00-$365,000.00, plus bonus.
