Summary
The Communications Manager-Professional Development & Training is an integral part of Firm’s Brand & Communications team. This role will be responsible for the internal and external marketing and communication of the firm’s global training initiatives and career development programs for associates and business professionals, while partnering with senior leaders to ensure that marketing communications (marcoms), social media, and PR plans align with the goals and business objectives of the various associate and business professional training and learning programs, and support the firm’s overarching strategic priorities. This role will be located in either their New York, Chicago, or Washington, D.C. office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Creating compelling marketing materials, including digital and social media content, presentations, and internal campaign collateral (e.g., newsletters, intranet, town halls) consistent with the firm’s brand, to promote program awareness and engagement internally and externally across the firm’s various channels, with a strong focus on digital and social channels
- Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns, adjusting tactics as necessary to improve reach, engagement, and impact
- Serving as a key point of contact for program-related communications, including press, and providing clear, concise information to stakeholders
- Coordinating cross-functional project teams to deliver campaigns
- Leveraging resources and technology to develop processes and systems to increase productivity, consistency, and quality of communications and marketing efforts
Skills
- Possess knowledge of core marketing principles, including digital marketing, internal communications, seminar and event planning, branding, market research, trade advertising, and competitive intelligence
- Display excellent leadership skills (i.e., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective management
- Exhibit well-developed and professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
And have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of ten (10) years of cumulative experience, including a minimum of five (5) years of relevant public relations and marketing experience (at a PR agency or in-house)
$130,000.00-$160,00000, plus bonus
