Summary

Our client’s Global Corporate practice group is looking to hire an Associate with 4 – 6 years of experience to join our New York, Dallas, Houston, Chicago or Los Angeles office. Successful candidates will have U.S. capital markets experience in representing underwriters, issuers and placement agents in IPOs, follow-on public offerings, private placements and other securities offerings. Experience representing public companies in ’34 Act work a plus but is not required.

Skills & Experience

Required

• Candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and track extensive details.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and all levels of personnel and handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating initiative, diplomacy and tact when under pressure.

Salary range: $265,000 – $390,000 plus bonus. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
