Attorney Recruiting Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Legal Talent & Recruiting Specialist to support attorney recruiting, summer associate programs, and talent development initiatives in its Washington, DC office. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys managing events, coordinating recruiting processes, and working closely with attorneys, candidates, and firm leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Attorney & Law Student Recruiting
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications for law students, lateral attorneys, and judicial clerks.
- Manage recruiting databases, candidate records, and application materials.
- Prepare recruiting-related correspondence, including offer and rejection letters.
- Support recruiting committee meetings and assist with candidate evaluation processes.
- Coordinate recruiting events, networking receptions, and offer dinners.
Summer Associate Program
- Help plan and execute summer associate events and programming.
- Coordinate evaluations, feedback collection, and review processes.
- Assist with assignment tracking and general program administration.
- Serve as a key point of contact for summer associates throughout the program.
Talent Development & Professional Development
- Assist with attorney development programs, trainings, and office events.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recruiting metrics for firm leadership.
- Provide administrative and project support to the Legal Talent team.
- Support special projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2–5 years of recruiting, talent management, HR, or professional services experience.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the Washington, DC office.
- Occasional evening events and limited travel may be required.
Compensation
$70,000.00–$90,000.00 plus bonus.
