Summary
A prestigious global law firm is seeking a skilled and proactive Recruiter to join our Human Resources team in New York. This role focuses on attracting and hiring top-tier talent across a variety of business support functions. The ideal candidate brings a solid background in full-cycle recruiting, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and firm leadership. This position plays a key role in shaping the firm’s talent pipeline.
Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts for Business Professional roles in collaboration with hiring managers and the HR Recruiting team

Conduct intake meetings to gather detailed job requirements and understand team dynamics

Source candidates using a variety of methods, including LinkedIn, job boards, headhunters, and professional associations

Review applications and screen candidates to identify the most qualified individuals

Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit

Coordinate interview logistics with hiring managers and internal stakeholders

Partner with hiring teams to develop competitive offers and manage negotiations with selected candidates

Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through consistent, timely communication and a professional recruitment process

Maintain accurate and up-to-date data in the applicant tracking system (Taleo preferred)

Identify recruitment process improvements and manage expectations across stakeholders

Support other HR initiatives and special projects as assigned
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required

3–5 years of recruiting experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services setting

Deep understanding of recruitment strategies, best practices, and legal compliance

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels

Meticulous attention to detail and high standards for written communications

Proven ability to manage multiple searches independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and LinkedIn; experience with ATS platforms (Taleo preferred)

Highly motivated, self-directed, with a proactive and collaborative approach

Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when necessary
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance four days per week, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
Compensation
$90,000.00-$120,000.00, annually, plus bonus eligibility
