 Preferred: 2 – 3 years of law firm conflicts and new business intake experience 

What You Will Do
Under the direction of the Manager of Records & New Business Intake the Conflicts Coordinator is responsible for a variety of tasks. 

Essential Job Requirements
• Performing conflict searches for new clients, matters and lateral attorney hires; distributing relevant search results regarding same
• Assisting attorneys and secretaries with conflicts and new client/matter opening procedures
• Processing of requests in new client/matter workflow application
• Ensuring engagement letter, conflict waiver and opposing counsel requirements are met
• Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Firm’s names database
• Maintaining familial relationships, conflict screens and governmental appointments/ board positions/outside business interests databases
• Erecting ethical walls/conflict screen reports
• Determining proper recipient of unidentified mail 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Associates degree preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered
• 2 – 3 years of law firm conflicts and new business intake experience
• Knowledge of automated conflicts software (preferably Intapp Open) and web-based search engines
• Familiarity with law firm time and billing systems (preferably Aderant)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Familiarity with names of major companies, financial institutions and law firms, and aliases of same
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to interact effectively with internal client base, upholding a professional demeanor at all times and demonstrating an attitude of cooperation
• Ability to work overtime when needed, often without advanced notice
• Ability to treat sensitive/confidential information with appropriate discretion.
• Maintain a reliable attendance record. Arrive to work in a timely manner and observe prescribed work break and meal periods
• Be familiar with and adhere to all firm policies and procedures

 Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday

NJ: 12:00 pm-8:00 pm

CA: 9:00 am-5:30 pm

UT: 10:00 am-6:30 pm
