Temporary Recruiting Specialist

Summary

The Recruiting Specialist – Temp will provide support to the Sr. Recruiting Manager and Recruiting Manager with all recruiting efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and conduct phone screens
  • Correspond with candidates and agencies
  • Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system
  • Assist with resume and application review and provide recommendations to the Sr. Recruiting Manager and Recruiting Manager
  • Follow up with candidates, as necessary
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques; identify additional avenues for candidate attraction for open opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior or Industrial and Labor Relations
  • Two to five years of professional service experience required; at least two years of experience in an HR-related position
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with an ATS
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral, including strong attention to detail in all written work
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Flexibility and responsiveness, and the ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter, strong work ethic, enthusiastic “can do” attitude and eagerness to take ownership of the job responsibilities
  • Excellent team player and comfortable working independently as well
