Report to Litigation Support Manager
Position Summary
The primary duty of this role is to assist with the firm’s eDiscovery processes including but not limited to: logging media, loading data, quality control review, generating load files and responding to requests from legal assistants and attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Involved with the handling of client data along the data lifecycle:
- Database creation in support applications
- document imaging formats
- preparation of document productions and specifications
- importing and exporting data sets
- load file creation
- data manipulation/conversion
- Communicate the status of all ongoing projects with Project Managers
- Handle data on the firm’s FTP and external transfer sites
- Log and inventory incoming/outgoing data in support of chain of custody tracking
Supervisory/Management
- None
Education/Qualifications
- Working knowledge of litigation support applications, including LAW PreDiscovery, Relativity, Westlaw Case Notebook/Livenote, Concordance, SummationPro. CaseMap Suite and web-based document review applications.
- Four-year college degree in computer science or related field preferred, may substitute equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in electronic discovery
- CEDS, RCA, LAW PreDiscovery or industry recognized certifications a plus
