Summary
- The Firm seeks a Fiduciary Administrator to assist the Private Client Services attorneys in all aspects of the department’s California estate and probate practice.
- Responsibilities
- Organizing and liquidating estate assets
- Preparing documents in connection with post-mortem trust administration
- Preparing Probate Court filings
- Assisting in obtaining asset valuations
- Reviewing accountings
- Preparing cash reconciliations and proposed asset distributions
- Preparing documents to assist with estate planning, including deeds, assignments of entity interests, beneficiary designations, powers of attorney and health care directives
- Preparing federal/state estate tax returns
- Creating entities, including preparing state filings and organizational documents
- Coordinating administration matters with clients and advisors
Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years’ of trust & estates experience administering estates of high-net worth clients
- Experience in California Estate planning required
- Accounting/finance background a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Quickly and proactively identify and analyze problems, develop solutions and deliver results
- Work well under pressure in a team environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Work considerable overtime when required, including evenings and weekends
- Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, as well as the ability to learn new software and applications
