Summary
The Legal Personnel Specialist is an individual who has experience with juggling multiple work streams and has the ability to keep meticulous records. The Legal Personnel Specialist will report to the Sr. Legal Personnel Manager primarily and Legal Personnel Director would oversee both.
Responsibilities
- Support the Legal Personnel Director and Sr. Manager with administrative aspects New Associate Program (updating extranet, requesting IDs, telecom, processing onboarding forms, etc.)
- Support the Legal Personnel Director and Sr. Manager with annual associate and counsel compensation.
- Respond to industry survey requests.
- Manage status changes (arrivals, department and office transfer processes) and keep LP records accurate.
- Support the Legal Personnel Director with secondment administration.
- Support the Legal Personnel Director with AWP administration.
- Support the Legal Personnel Director with working parent liaison responsibilities (bright horizons and other).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree;
- Minimum of 5-8 years administrative experience, preferably in an HR capacity and preferably in a law or professional services firm;
- Proficient in Word and Excel. Outlook and Lotus Notes a plus;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Outstanding interpersonal skills;
- Highly developed organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail; and
- Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and to work under pressure, including overtime, in a deadline-driven environment.
