In-house Litigation Paralegal

A venture capital firm with a focus on founding and operating a number of startups in the fintech space, is seeking experienced paralegals to join its practice.  Under the supervision of the General Counsel, the candidate will help handle all of the complex legal needs of companies at different stages of growth.  The candidate’s duties will include: ownership of the process of document collection and review for offensive and defensive litigation, as well as (in the nature of startups) being willing to take on new and novel legal projects as they arise.  Attention to detail and the ability to take ownership of projects is a must.  Opportunities to participate on the business-side of various companies will exist as well. Compensation to include equity in rapidly growing startups in addition to salary. The ideal candidate should have more than two year’s law firm experience (including prior experience working on trials) with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
