Legal Recruitment Assistant

Summary
Premier, global, law firm seeks to add a highly motivated recruiter to their Boston or Washington, DC offices. The Legal Recruitment Assistant is responsible for full life cycle hiring efforts at the entry- and experienced hire level and will support the legal recruitment team on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented; and will possess excellent written and verbal skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a professional demeanor. Additionally, the candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external clients to influence positive outcomes and results. Candidate must be flexible to work overtime as needed, especially during periods of increased activity such as summer program and on-campus recruiting. Some travel may also be required.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates the intake and filing of resumes, fee agreements, and other important department documents
- Maintains department calendar and schedules meetings and interviews
- Communicates status updates to candidates and external recruiters
- Assists team with establishing and maintaining law school advisor, candidate, and other external relationships
- Assists team at on- and offsite hiring events (job fairs, OCI, etc.)
- Updates online resources to reflect up-to-the-moment recruiting news and tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 0-2 years’ experience with law firm or professional services recruiting
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), particularly viDesktop or LawCruit
- Knowledgeable about recruitment marketing, including but not limited to online sourcing (LinkedIn, etc.)
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
