They are seeking an Attorney Recruiting Specialist to support recruiting efforts for Lateral Partner, Lateral Associate, and Law School talent for their Boston office. The Specialist will provide support on firmwide projects and initiatives to create efficiencies and best practices across all offices. The client prides itself on their people. Lateral Recruiting
- The Specialist supports the East Coast Regional Attorney Recruiting Manager in the development of talent pipelines and strategic lateral recruitment plans for high demand practice groups.
- The Specialist develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external clients including attorneys and staff, outside agencies and other recruiters.
- The Specialist coordinates the screening and review of resumes, checks references of select applicants and compiles interview evaluations.
- The Specialist schedules lateral interviews including; identifying and communicating with appropriate partners and associates regarding the interview schedule, preparing marketing materials for the candidates, greeting candidates, etc.
Law School Recruiting
- The Specialist facilitates all aspects of the Summer Associate Program; orientation and training, scheduling, monitoring quality and quantity of all summer associate assignments, initiating the midsummer and final performance review process.
- This individual is responsible for the tactical planning of the Summer Associate Program events, with availability to attend all planned events.
- The Specialist is responsible for the management of the Fall On-Campus Interviewing Program for the office including resume review, scheduling call back interviews and gathering feedback, coordinating follow up on offers and managing office recruiting funnel and acceptance rates.
- The Specialist manages the Fall On-Campus Interviewing Program for designated schools including distributing resumes to appropriate parties upon receipt from schools, drafting first version of on-campus interviewers, preparing interview packets and schedules for on campus interviewers, organizing call back meetings for on campus interviewers and providing the related interview paperwork.
Marketing & Events
- The Specialist collaborates with the Marketing and Business Development teams to provide on-the-ground event support and maintains a calendar of outside events for attorneys to attend.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of attorney recruiting experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Outstanding interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment demonstrating reliability, dependability and flexibility is essential.
- Exceptional organizational, process, and follow-through skills. Ability to prioritize assignments and work independently to meet critical deadlines.
- Expertise in relevant technology; Taleo, Workday, or other applicant tracking system experience is preferred.
