Recruitment Assistant

Summary
The Recruitment Assistant provides administrative support to Directors, Managers and local recruiting team members in all areas of Recruitment, including recruiting of entry-level attorneys and summer associates. In addition, the Recruitment Assistant supports special projects, including human resources, communications, special events, and intranet/extranet maintenance.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support new attorney and summer associate hiring processes, which include assisting with scheduling interviews and orientation, processing new hire paperwork and integration procedures.
- Work with the Diversity & Inclusion team to support implementation of diversity and inclusion recruitment strategies and initiatives, which include assisting with summer program events for the Women’s Initiative, and Diversity Council, and supporting sponsorship and events for law student affinity groups.
- Assist with entry-level recruitment split expense processing and reimbursements.
- Attend and assist with coordination of Talent Management-sponsored events which may occur after standard business hours and on weekends.
- Support maintenance of applicant data, documents, and correspondence in recruiting database and other firm systems.
- Process check requests and expense reports.
- Draft event invitations, reserve conference rooms, collect RSVPs and create name tags.
- Manage content on intranet and SharePoint as it relates to recruiting.
Secondary Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Occasional travel and ability to work late hours.
- Job is subject to time pressures and constraints.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- College degree required.
Experience
- Preferably a year or so of recruiting experience at a mid-large law firm or professional service environment
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of firm computer software; aptitude to learn and become proficient quickly in a variety of software/systems. Experience with recruiting, human resources, or similar systems (such as Oracle, ViDesktop, etc.) preferred but not required.
