Client Accounting Specialist
Summary
Our Finance Department has an opening for a Client Accounting Specialist. This position can be based in our San Francisco/San Jose/Foster City (CA), Seattle (WA) or New York (NY) office.
Responsibilities
The Client Accounting Specialist will have overall responsibility of coordinating the billing and collection activities of partner accounts, and working collaboratively with the partners and clients to process edits accurately and generate timely bills. This individual will also administer special billing arrangements, manage accounts receivables per firm requirements, and provide management with status reports, various client analysis reports and assist clients in resolving questions and/or problems regarding their invoices and accounts. This is a hands-on position that involves working within a team-oriented environment, utilizing sound business judgment, and addressing the wide variety of daily tasks efficiently to encompasses all aspects of the day-to-day billing (eBilling) and collections operations (full portfolio management), which are performed in accordance with departmental standards.
Requirements
The qualified candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills as there will be regular interaction with partners and clients. Prior legal and/or professional services billing experience and IP/TM experience desired; Aderant experience a plus.
