Legal Recruiting Coordinator

Summary
The Legal Recruiting Coordinator will assist and support the Legal Recruiting Department with all aspects of attorney recruitment, including lateral, summer and fall law clerk program administration.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, creating/maintaining files, processing conflicts and background checks, and creating personnel files for all new hires.
- Assist in the scheduling and greetings of candidates.
- Update the applicant tracking system, maintain diversity statistics, comply with all federal contractor obligations, and post online vacancies.
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork, confirming final orientation schedules, assisting with the office tours and completing the I-9 E-Verify process for all new hires.
- Respond to and direct candidate inquiries.
Entry Level Requirements
- Prepare materials for on-campus interviews, create files for all callback candidates, assist with callback scheduling, prepare correspondence and assist with post-offer follow-up efforts.
- Prepare for weekly hiring committee meetings: collect feedback and finalize packets.
- Assist with the coordination of summer assignments, collect feedback and prepare for summer reviews.
- Assist with planning and overseeing summer program events, internal programming and trainings.
- Coordinate sponsorship initiatives at target law schools, including attorney participation and tracking of all efforts.
Lateral Recruitment
- Assist with setting up interviews, collecting feedback and drafting offer packages.
- Assist Lateral Recruitment Specialist with projects related to lateral partner hiring, including collecting market data and updating internal lateral forms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of recruitment experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize competing demands to meet deadlines.
- Must be extremely detailed-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Flexibility to work overtime and adjust work schedule as needed.
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain strong internal working relationships with all levels in the organization.
- Must be independently authorized to work in the United States.
