Receptionist

Description: A premier, forward thinking, boutique, litigation, law firm has an opening for a receptionist in the midtown New York office. This position will assist administration, paralegals, and professional assistants (legal secretary). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, serving as the main receptionist, greeting visitors, conference room reservations, maintaining and updating Outlook contacts and office calendars, revising and editing documents, file organization, light accounting, meeting and beverage setup, and other office responsibilities.

Qualifications: Successful candidates must have a professional demeanor, be detail-oriented, have superior organizational skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under strict deadlines, have excellent writing and communication skills, exercise good judgment, and possess a team player attitude. Qualified candidates should have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree and at least two years of work experience in an office environment. Other requirements include a strong computer proficiency in 2010 or later version MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional. Must be able to lift/carry 25 lbs. and able to work after hours when needed.
