Temporary Staff Recruiting Manager

Summary
The Staff Recruiting Manager will be fully responsible for overseeing the recruitment and employment function for the Firm’s Staff Departments.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for open positions across the Firm’s Staff areas
- Design and implement a tailored candidate assessment and selection strategy for each opening
- Coach managers on best practices in relation to interviewing and candidate selection
- Develop relationships with key agency contacts to ensure a pipeline is being developed for critical roles
- Responsible for the Firm’s recruitment brand on our internal and external careers site, on-campus recruiting sites, Linked In and job posting boards
- Ensure that the Firm’s recruitment strategy embraces a diverse internal and external applicant pool
- Responsible for overseeing the onboarding experience for all new hires and temporary associates
- Create and administer a New Hire Survey; manage proposals/enhancements based on feedback
- Ensure the Firm is compliant in relation to EEO, 503/VEVRAA and AA mandates
- Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends and applicable laws related to employment and staffing
- Provide weekly open position report and quarterly hiring statistics to senior management
- Analyze internal hiring trends and benchmark data
- Partner with HR Coordinator on strategy, process and data for the Firm’s on-campus Paralegal program
- Manage the Firm’s applicant tracking and background check systems to ensure proper utilization and data accuracy
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Deep subject matter expertise in Human Resources. Specifically in staffing, talent management, coaching, employment law; prefer 8+ years’ experience (can take a little less for the right person)
- Previous HR Generalist experience preferred
- Outstanding ability to identify, attract and recruit top internal and external talent; excellent assessment skills
- Proactive, client service oriented approach, with the ability to plan, implement and deliver project and continuous improvement outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to gain credibility and build relationships with Senior Management
- Strong leadership skills and excellent judgment
- Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to groups and all levels of management
- Ability to work effectively and manage external vendors and agencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated competence in thinking strategically
