Accounting Specialist-Trust Accounts

Summary
The Trust Accounting Staff will be responsible for assisting the New York Trust Department with various Trust and General accounting duties and will also be assisting the National Trust Team, as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Review, verify and record daily trust account transactions
- Prepare daily bank account reconciliations
- Accounts payable; recording trust cash disbursements
- Accounts receivable; recording trust deposits
- General accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications & Prior Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of accounting experience in a professional services environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
- Adobe and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) proficiency required
- Overtime, as needed
- Law firm experience, specifically knowledge of Real Estate trust transactions, a plus
