Training and Development Coordinator (CLE)

Summary
A premiere law natioal law firm has an opening for a Training and Development Coordinator (CLE). The Training and Development Coordinator monitors and tracks CLE compliance for the firm’s lawyers and paralegals, serves as the firm’s viDesktop Learning Management System (LMS) administrator, and provides additional administrative and clerical support for programs related to firmwide and practice-specific attorney training and development. The position involves regular contact with attorneys and personnel throughout the firm.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as CLE liaison for programs offered internally firmwide, including pursuing CLE accreditation when needed.
- Provide administrative support for CLE programs, including ensuring CLE-compliant materials, agendas, sign-in sheets and/or certificates.
- Respond to inquiries related to CLE rules and compliance, including jurisdiction-specific questions.
- Update and maintain CLE content, including LMS library of CLE programs and offerings.
- Assist in new hire onboarding and support as it relates to CLE accreditation and compliance.
- Source and provide CLE opportunities for attorneys to fulfill compliance requirements.
- Work with the firm’s risk management team to ensure CLE compliance deadlines are met and to provide support on any CLE audits.
- Liaise with business development and practice groups to support and coordinate client and other external CLE offerings.
- Provide additional coordinator-level support as needed for training and development functions.
