Summary
An international hedge fund is seeking an ambitious Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to join their team. As a Compensation and Benefits Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing and administering employees’ rewards, perks and benefits.
Day To Day Responsibilities
- Administer compensation programs including creation of job grade and writing job descriptions
- Conduct annual salary and labor market research to define benchmarks
- Manage and administer the benefits programs and leaves of absence for the company; act as employee liaison for both platforms
- Assists with the operational management of domestic health and welfare benefit programs, 401(k) plans or Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs) and the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
- Helps register employees for benefit plans, serves as the primary contact for benefit-related questions or complaints and works directly with vendors to resolve issues.
- Process new enrollments, cancellations, and adjustments; maintain records, resolve administrative problems communicate with employees and vendors regarding benefit plans.
- Coordinate and plan all wellness program initiatives.
- Apply effective communication strategies
- Assess employees needs by conducting organizational surveys
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in human resources, business administration or similar relevant field
- Entry Level career human resources professional with 1-2 experience with compensation, benefits, or general HR / Administration experience
- Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
