Summary

A well-known, forward thinking, global, apparel company is looking for an Intellectual Property Paralegal to join their growing team in their corporate headquarters in New York City.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Assist with the management and protection of Company’s IP assets worldwide
• Manage all Intellectual Property related docketing
• Handle day-to-day trademark prosecution
• Prepare and file new trademark applications and customs recordals worldwide
• Manage global IP registration renewals
• Assist with international trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings
• Support IP counsel with the collection of evidence and supporting documents
• Correspond with outside counsel

Requirements

• 15+ years of international trademark experience
• In-house experience preferred
• Strong management skills, keen attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Knowledge of and experience with WebTMS docketing system
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
