Professional Development and Diversity Assistant-Temp

(Possibly until the end of the year)

Reporting to the Manager of Professional Development and the Manager of Diversity & Inclusion, the primary responsibilities include: 

  • Provide support to three departments, Professional Development, Diversity & Inclusion and Legal Personnel
  • Manage content on the Professional Development, Diversity & Inclusion and Legal Personnel Portals
  • Input CLE certificates and program attendees on MICRON and generate program sign-in sheets
  • Assist with CLE program set-ups
  • Email departing associates their CLE reports and PDF’d certificates
  • Check registration status of NY admitted lawyers on the NY Bar website
  • Review and update Firm’s PLI and WestLegalEd membership rosters
  • Manage content on the Professional Development Portal
  • Manage D&I Affinity Group Rosters
  • Process payment requests
  • Scheduling and calendaring of meetings
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ work experience preferred but will also accept a recent college graduate with limited experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to master new databases
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Able to craft short coherent email communications
  • Knowledge of Excel

Salary: Highly competitive above market hourly rate
