Tax Accountant
Summary
The Tax Accountant assists with the administration of the Partners’ investments and related tax forms.
Responsibilities
- Preparing Federal and State tax returns for Partners and their families, and for trusts, private foundations and other entities set up by Partners;
- Preparing partnership returns and K-1s for investment partnerships;
- Reviewing daily bank deposits; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
- 2-4 years of tax and accounting experience in a public accounting environment with specific experience in high-net worth individuals and partnership taxation;
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills;
- Strong computer skills;
- Ability to research tax issues and keeping abreast of new and changing tax laws;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of investment and tax information;
- Capable of organizing and coordinating workflow to meet strict deadlines;
- Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate several activities at one time; and
- Availability to work overtime as needed.
