Tax Accountant

Summary

The Tax Accountant assists with the administration of the Partners’ investments and related tax forms. 

Responsibilities

  • Preparing Federal and State tax returns for Partners and their families, and for trusts, private foundations and other entities set up by Partners;
  • Preparing partnership returns and K-1s for investment partnerships;
  • Reviewing daily bank deposits; and
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
  • 2-4 years of tax and accounting experience in a public accounting environment with specific experience in high-net worth individuals and partnership taxation;
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Ability to research tax issues and keeping abreast of new and changing tax laws;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of investment and tax information;
  • Capable of organizing and coordinating workflow to meet strict deadlines;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate several activities at one time; and
  • Availability to work overtime as needed.
