Summary
Join a premier, global, law firms Marketing team and work closely with their Director of Client Relations, Client Relations Managers and Business Development Managers! The Client Relations Coordinator is an essential team member who helps facilitate a programmatic approach to developing client relationships in multiple industry sectors. The Coordinator supports Firm efforts focused on client interaction opportunities and brand visibility. This role focuses on supporting the Firm’s efforts to grow client relationships in industry sectors while ensuring exemplary service in all aspects of the client experience.
- Maintains action plans for client teams, tracking activities and progress against goals. Reminds Client Relations team members of outstanding items and upcoming deadlines. Incorporates client team meeting notes into plan updates.
- Creates drafts of various internal newsletters relating to client teams. Proactively seeks out information to include in newsletters, including through outreach to Marketing and Finance colleagues. Synthesizes emails forwarded from Client Relations and Business Development colleagues and distills to key points to include in newsletters.
- Coordinates event sponsorships, including:
- Securing internal approval of expense.
- Coordinating with Creative Services to create collateral (program ad, banner ad, etc.).
- Submitting invoices for payment.
- Tracking invitations to attend events and outstanding table slots.
- Assists with and internal procedures for various value-add services (e.g. MoFone, MoFo Test Drive, secondments), including:
- Tracking client usage of value-add services.
- Scheduling necessary check-ins.
- Obtaining monthly usage reports from Pricing.
- Creating draft client reports for secondees.
- Assists with scheduling Voice of Client interviews, tracking progress, and inputting feedback into database.
- Maintains updated client contact information, working closely with the Marketing Technology Group as needed.
- Creates first drafts of various reports, including value-add reports and Department Chair meeting prep reports.
- Revamps and maintains CLE training program and menus.
- Coordinates internal Client Relations Group meetings.
- Provides other assistance as needed to the Firm’s client teams and industry groups.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3 years’ professional experience required; experience in the field of legal business development strongly preferred.
