Litigation Paralegal

Top, boutique, litigation, law firm has an opening for a litigation paralegal in their New York office.  Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of paralegal experience working in complex commercial litigation cases and a stable job history. Litigation experience includes: case management, e-discovery databases, preparing exhibits, pre-trial motions, preparing for and attending trial as a first chair paralegal, and ability to handle a varied docket of cases. Experience in Federal Court cases is preferred.

Must have superior communication and organizational abilities, be a quick learner, a self-starter and detail-oriented, have an enthusiastic team attitude, and able to work extended hours when necessary.  Poise and the ability to thrive in a challenging environment are essential.

Candidates must be proficient in Word, Excel, and a working knowledge of PowerPoint 2010. Must also be proficient in using document databases such as Relativity, Eclipse or similar electronic databases. Must be able to lift/carry 40 lbs. and able to work after hours when needed.  Position offers competitive salary and excellent benefits.
