Pricing Analyst

Summary

Primarily responsible for the governance, integrity and analysis of the Billing Management System (BMS); which contains master data for client and matter fee arrangements and billing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a daily review of open and closed matters for documentation of fee arrangements and update the BMS accordingly;
• Identify and communicate material changes in new versions of client billing guidelines and update the BMS accordingly;
• Assist with the annual review of standard rates and ensure that the BMS reflects the client agreement;
• Assist with the enhancement, development and user-acceptance testing of the BMS across the firm;
• Perform analysis on billable rates for clients and matters, and respond to timekeeper rate request queries;
• Work with the Pricing Team on responses to Requests for Proposal;
• Coordinate and track Pricing Team projects to ensure all deadlines are met;
• Assist the Pricing Team with various ad hoc projects to help execute the Firm’s strategic goals;
• Provide other administrative support to Pricing Team and Finance Department as needed; and
• Other duties, as assigned.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a senior business or financial analyst, management accountant or similar role.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Access, including exposure to SQL and VBA.
• Professional services or law firm experience highly regarded.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
