Summary

Contracts Paralegal will assist senior attorneys whose primary responsibility is to provide day- to-day contract and legal counsel.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft terms of conditions on a wide variety of types of agreements including distribution, retailer, purchasing, consumer, marketing, and maintenance agreements
• Review agreements to make sure they meet company’s requirements
• Review purchasing agreements for business and legal issues
• Ensure that all regulatory and internal procedures are met
• Follow up work with vendors and clients as needed
• Trademark and Patent Prosecution experience preferred

Education, Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3-5 years’ experience working with retail related agreements and contracts within a large law firm or corporate environment
• Must have strong drafting and organizational skills
• An in depth knowledge of contract clauses and terms
• Superior communication and writing skills, both verbal & written
• Excellent oral communication a must
• Must be proactive and a team player, and have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Must be able to multi task
